Duh, of course you do. Thats why your here. Well we have spent the better half of 2 years and thousands of dollars creating what we think is the perfect answer to the question above. Now let's cut to the chase, this kit isn't for everyone. In order to get your truck to perform offroad like you want it to you have to make some sacrifices. First and foremost is weight. If you have a big massive bumper or plow hanging off the front of your truck this ain't gonna work for you without custom springs. Second is steering geometry, these trucks are known to have some bump steer and there is no way around that without spending significantly more money. To expand on this subject the bumpsteer is not something that this kit has created, the bump steer has always been there. we have simply unlocked more usable wheel travel and in return we also gain more bump steer. if your particular setup does not benefit from the extra wheel travel such as tractor pulling or a smooth surface racing application you can simply limit the wheel travel and have no extra bump steer while still maintaining a much more rigid front end. 

 

Whats a Builders Kit? 

Builders kit is for the shop that already does these type of installs daily. Builder kits come, for the most part, without hardware. It allows the shop to purchase things like uniballs, limit straps, hardware etc on there own or from inventory they already stock in house.    

 

Now that we got the 2 main ugly points out of the way, let's move on to the good stuff! This kit works so killer it's hard to hit the bumps and not smile every time as they seem to just disappear. When i first started out on this quest i never expected for it to work as well as it does. It cycles roughly 10 inches of wheel travel depending on how you set it up which is more than enough to get yourself into trouble.  

 

What's included in the kit:  

 

  1. Pair of full plate uniball upper arms.

  2. Pair of full plate lower arms.

  3. Pair of DS custom spec king 2.5x8 coilovers.

  4. Pair of upper shock towers.

  5. All necessary hardware in GR9 or F911.

  6. All frame pivots are delrin bushings.

  7. Knick knack install items, spray paint, cut off wheels etc.

  8. Pair of Limit straps and associated hardware.

  9. Pair of polyurethane bump stops.

  10. Pair of reservoir mounts.

  1. Tig welded upper arm

  2. Upper arm overlay plates

  3. Lower arm overlays plates  

  4. DS camber lockout plates

  5. DS lower frame pivot gusset kit

  6. Steelit Paint or Powdercoat

 

Shock options

 

  1. Custom shock color

  2. Internal bypass (progressive dampening)

  3. Finned Reservoir (shock oil heatsink)

  4. Compression adjusters (shock firmness adjustment)

 

Important Notes 

 

This is not a "leveling kit", it will however sit level with a 2-3 inch drop shackle in the rear depending on leaf spring health. Please note that even tho all the frames between 00-10 are "the same" they seem to differ slightly from the truck to truck. Both in terms in setup/install and weight.  Since the trucks are known to have some bump steer they can be a bit tricky to align. The best way we have found expedite the alignment process is via angle finder and tape measure for the first few miles in order to give the front end time to settle.  Then take the truck to a alignment shop.
